Managed Security
Protection where attacks actually land.
Email security, endpoint detection and response, and cloud security posture management, configured, tuned and operated.
Sound familiar
Where this usually starts.
Phishing email, a compromised laptop and a misconfigured cloud storage bucket account for a large share of real incidents. We protect each of those surfaces with the controls built for it: email authentication and filtering, endpoint detection and response with tuned policies, and continuous posture management across cloud accounts, configured rather than merely installed, and watched by the same operations team.
Scope
What is included.
-
Email authentication
SPF, DKIM and DMARC moved to enforcement, so your domain cannot be spoofed.
-
Email filtering
Phishing, malware and impersonation protection, with user reporting.
-
Endpoint detection and response
EDR deployed, its policies tuned and its alerts watched.
-
Cloud security posture
Continuous checks for misconfiguration across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
-
Workload protection
Servers, containers and Kubernetes protected at runtime.
-
Security awareness
Phishing simulations and short training based on real attempts.
Reference architecture
From every signal to one response, and the evidence for the audit.
This service protects the telemetry edge of the security architecture: email, endpoints and cloud accounts, where most attacks begin. It configures the controls on each and feeds what they see to detection and response.
What this service delivers here
-
Email
Phishing and impersonation, stopped or flagged at the gateway.
-
Endpoints
Laptops and servers, each running a detection agent.
-
Cloud
Configuration drift and exposed resources across your accounts.
-
EDR and XDR
Sees what runs on a device, and can stop it.
Before you start
Decisions to settle early.
-
Native tools or third party
Platform-native security is often enough when configured well; third-party tools add depth in some areas. Configuration comes before purchasing.
-
How fast to enforce DMARC
Moving to rejection too fast blocks legitimate mail; too slow leaves the domain spoofable. Reports set the pace.
-
How strict endpoint policy should be
Stricter rules stop more attacks and occasionally block legitimate software. Exceptions are documented, not silent.

-
A fixed-fee assessment
We review email authentication, endpoint policies and cloud posture across your accounts. You receive ranked findings and a fixed price for remediation.
-
A fixed-price build
DMARC enforcement, endpoint policy tuning, cloud posture remediation and phishing simulations for the scope agreed, at a fixed price.
-
Running it afterwards
Monitoring and posture management then continue monthly, with reports on what changed and what remains open.
Start with the assessment.
Worked example
A domain anyone could send from.
Say an accounting firm's clients receive invoices that appear to come from it but do not. Its domain has no enforced DMARC policy, endpoint protection runs on default settings, and a cloud storage account has never been reviewed.
-
Authenticate
We identify every service that sends mail for the domain, align SPF and DKIM for each, and move DMARC to enforcement in monitored stages.
-
Tune
Endpoint policies are set for the firm's devices, with attack surface reduction rules enabled and every exception documented.
-
Check
Cloud accounts are scanned for public storage and broad permissions, and a publicly readable folder of client documents is closed.
-
Train
Phishing simulations modeled on the fake invoices teach staff what to look for and how to report it.
At the end, mail claiming to come from the firm is rejected unless it really does, endpoints run tuned policies, and the cloud accounts are checked continuously rather than once.
An illustration
Where it goes wrong
What we design out.
-
Installed, not configured
Security products on default settings protect less than their buyers think. Policies are tuned to your estate and documented.
-
DMARC left at monitoring
A DMARC record that never reaches enforcement does not stop spoofing. Senders are authenticated and the policy is moved to rejection in stages.
-
Cloud checked once
A configuration that is safe today can be changed tomorrow. Posture checks run continuously and catch regressions.
Outcomes
What it changes.
-
Your domain protected
DMARC at enforcement stops attackers sending email as you.
-
Endpoints that report
Tuned EDR turns laptops and servers into sensors as well as defenses.
-
Cloud mistakes caught
Misconfigurations are found and fixed before they are exploited.
How you will know it is working
- Mail claiming to be from your domain is rejected unless it is genuine.
- Endpoint alerts are watched and acted on.
- Public storage and broad permissions are caught soon after they appear.
- Staff report suspicious messages more often than they click them.
You keep
What you have at the end.
Handover pack
five items
- Email authentication and filtering configuration SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and filtering policies, with the path taken to enforcement.
- Endpoint policy baseline The EDR policies in force on each type of device, tuned to your estate, with each exclusion justified.
- Cloud posture findings and remediation plan Misconfigurations across your cloud accounts, ranked by risk, with the fix for each.
- Phishing simulation reports How staff responded to each simulation, what they reported, and the training that followed.
- Monthly posture report The state of email, endpoint and cloud controls, what changed and what remains open.
The team
Who you work with.
-
Security engineer
Assesses and configures email, endpoint and cloud controls for your estate.
-
Cloud security specialist
Reviews posture across accounts and drives remediation with your teams.
-
Awareness lead
Designs phishing simulations and the short training that follows them.
What we need from you
- Access to your mail platform, DNS and endpoint tools.
- Read access to your cloud accounts for posture checks.
- A list of services that send mail for your domain.
- Approval for phishing simulations from leadership and HR.
Detect, contain, recover and learn, with the same engineers throughout.
Questions
Questions we get asked.
What is DMARC, and why does it matter?
DMARC tells receiving mail servers what to do with email that claims to come from your domain but fails authentication. At enforcement it stops attackers impersonating you, and major mailbox providers now expect it from bulk senders.
Is antivirus enough?
No. Endpoint detection and response records behavior, so it can catch attacks that use legitimate tools and give analysts the evidence to investigate, which signature-based antivirus cannot.
Do you support posture management across several clouds?
Yes, across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, with findings in one view and fixes delivered as infrastructure code wherever possible.
Do phishing simulations annoy staff?
Not when they are fair: realistic but never deceptive about pay or personal matters, and followed by short training rather than blame. Reporting rates matter more than click rates.
How long does it take to reach DMARC enforcement?
It depends on how many services send mail for your domain. Each one has to be found and authenticated before enforcement, or legitimate mail is rejected. We move through monitoring, quarantine and rejection in stages, watching the reports at each step, so nothing legitimate is lost.
Do you replace our existing email filtering?
Only if replacing it is the better option. Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and the common secure email gateways are capable when they are configured well, and most of the improvement usually comes from configuration and tuning rather than a new product.
What is cloud security posture management?
Continuous checking of cloud accounts against secure configuration rules: public storage, overly broad permissions, unencrypted data, exposed management ports and similar risks. Findings are ranked by exposure and fixed through your normal change process, and the checks keep running, so a fix that is reverted is noticed.
Can staff report suspicious email easily?
Yes. A report button in the mail client sends the message for analysis and removes it from the inbox. Reports are triaged by the operations team, and when one message turns out to be part of a campaign, the copies in other inboxes are removed too.
