Asked for first: - 24/7 SOC and MDR: Continuous monitoring and response, with incident reporting timelines agreed in advance. - Governance, risk and compliance: Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and NCSC CAF readiness, with the evidence collected as the work runs. - 24/7 service desk: A service desk that answers in UK hours and hands problems to engineers rather than a queue. - Cloud strategy and migration: Moves to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud sequenced around the systems that cannot pause. - SD-WAN and SASE: Branch and remote access networks rebuilt around identity rather than location. What UK buyers are usually held to. - UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018: Anyone processing personal data in or about the United Kingdom. - Data (Use and Access) Act 2025: Amends the UK data protection framework, in force in stages. - NIS Regulations 2018: Operators of essential services and relevant digital service providers. - Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus: The baseline UK government scheme, required in many public contracts. - NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework: Organizations responsible for essential services and critical functions. - FCA and PRA operational resilience: Regulated financial firms, including outsourcing and third party risk. How data moves: Personal data transferred from the United Kingdom to the delivery team in Pakistan is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses, agreed before the transfer happens. Data that does not need to leave your environment does not leave it. Questions: Q: Which company would we contract with?
