# Expandware Europe

Integration, cloud, security operations and AI governance for organizations in the European Union, the EEA and Switzerland.

Infrastructure and security for European organizations under NIS2, DORA and the AI Act.

European regulation has moved from data protection to the resilience of the systems themselves. NIS2 widened who has to manage cyber risk and report incidents, DORA made ICT resilience a board matter for financial entities, the Data Act set rules for switching cloud providers, and the AI Act brings obligations in phases. We help organizations turn those texts into controls that work in operation, and we keep personal data inside the safeguards the GDPR requires.

Who you contract with: Expandware Private Limited, incorporated in Pakistan and certified as a Special Technology Zone Enterprise.

Hours: Pakistan is three hours ahead of Central European time in summer and four in winter, which leaves most of a working day in common. Managed services are monitored around the clock.

Asked for first:
- Governance, risk and compliance: NIS2 and DORA gap assessments turned into an ordered program with named control owners.
- Sovereign and regulated cloud: Data residency, key custody and provider exit plans designed in, as the Data Act and supervisors expect.
- AI governance and security: AI systems inventoried, risk classified and documented against the AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001.
- Incident response: Response and reporting rehearsed against the deadlines NIS2 and DORA set.
- Data integration and analytics: Data platforms with lineage and minimization built into the pipelines, not added for an audit.

What European buyers are usually held to.
- General Data Protection Regulation: Processing of personal data in or about the EU and the EEA.
- NIS2 Directive: Essential and important entities across eighteen sectors, as transposed by each member state.
- Digital Operational Resilience Act: Banks, insurers, investment firms and their critical ICT providers.
- Artificial Intelligence Act: Providers and deployers of AI systems, with obligations applied in phases.
- Data Act: Connected products and data processing services, including switching between cloud providers.
- Cyber Resilience Act: Manufacturers of products with digital elements, with obligations applied in stages.

How data moves: Personal data transferred from the EEA to the delivery team in Pakistan is covered by the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, with a transfer impact assessment and supplementary measures. Swiss transfers use the clauses as adapted for Switzerland. Data with no reason to leave your environment stays in it.

Questions:

Q: Which company would we contract with?
A: Expandware Private Limited, incorporated in Pakistan and certified as a Special Technology Zone Enterprise. Its registration can be checked with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Q: Are we in scope for NIS2?
A: It depends on your sector, your size and how your member state transposed the directive, and the answer is worth confirming in writing before anything is built. A readiness assessment starts there, then maps the gap between your current controls and the measures the directive requires.

Q: How do you handle GDPR transfers to Pakistan?
A: Under the Standard Contractual Clauses, with a transfer impact assessment and supplementary technical and organizational measures. Engagements are designed so that delivery needs as little personal data as possible to leave your environment.

Q: Can you work in German, French or Dutch?
A: Engagements run in English. Our privacy policy is published in French and German, and where a deliverable has to be in another language for a regulator or works council, we agree how it will be produced before the work is priced.
